Graham Gilchrist, P.Ag.

CEO

Graham Gilchrist brings a large breath of knowledge in farm management systems and greenhouse gas markets to Biological Carbon Canada (BCC). He is a professional agrologist with over 30 years of experience serving the needs of rural Canada. He holds licenses to practice agrology in the provinces of Alberta and B.C.

Prior to starting at BCC, he spent six years with the Farmers’ Advocate Office in Alberta building industry stewardship best practices for carbon markets and offset trading. He provided advice to other technical experts on evidence-based solutions and persuaded the aggregation industry to standardize their purchase approaches. He was successful in setting up the Carbon Offset Trade Association, an industry leading voluntary market regulation.

Graham now brings this expertise to BCC and to rural Canadian stakeholders.
