Alberta Climate Policy
In early March, Biological Carbon Canada (BCC) was part of an announcement by the Province of Alberta. The Province is starting a series of sector engagements in March, April and May.
WHO?
The engagement is being led by Whitney Issik, MLA for Calgary-Glenmore.
WHY?
The engagement is designed to allow government the ability to build-on and support what industry wants to accomplish in climate mitigation. The announcement was not a policy proposal, but as articulated by MLA Issik, Alberta wants to use it as an “intelligence gathering” opportunity.
